From November 11 to 19 ABCD Innovation Center in partnership with the Çanakkale Koza Gençlik DerneğI organized the second phase of the Asset Based Community and Youth Development training course in Kalavan, Armenia. The project was supported by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.
12 participants from 12 non-governmental organizations from Turkey and Armenia gathered together in Armenia to learn about the Project Design Basics / PACA Tools, Youth Empowerment and Civic Activism Through Coaching, Cultural Intelligence and Leadership building through volunteerism and service-learning.
Participants also had the chance to visit local museums, experience Armenian cuisine, dances and songs.
This was a great opportunity for participants from Turkey to learn more about the Armenian culture.
Besides, it is important to mention that during the project participants have developed 6 new joint projects to implement during the next year. The projects were about the art exchange, youth empowerment and capacity development school.
